Meet Margaret, 73

“I’d been married to Sam for 40 years when he died. Throughout our marriage, Sam had handled all the finances, including paying bills, doing tax returns for both of us and investing in a significant share portfolio. In his Will, he left everything to me. Quickly, I realised I didn’t have enough knowledge to handle all the affairs, especially at such a difficult and emotional time. I went to The Trust Company. They pay my bills every month and they prepare my tax return every year. As time went on, I decided the family home was no longer suitable for me.
